Journée sociale et Tournoi de golf

Le Rotary Club d’Excideuil propose au 8 clubs du secteur 6 une journée conviviale autour du golf.
Le lieu : Le Domaine d’Essendiéras (www.essendieras.fr), 24160 St Médard d’Excideuil, avec son parcours de golf 9 trous, ses 2 châteaux, et ses 360 hectares autour, est le siège social du Rotary Club d’Excideuil.
Le Domaine peut offrir des hébergement en chambres, suites, appartements ou gîtes pour les nuits avant et après l’événement (réservations en ligne à www.essendieras.fr)

Pour les golfeurs : un tournoi de golf de 9 ou 18 trous, formule scramble avec départs au shotgun
Pour les non-joueurs : promenades sur le Domaine ; une visite guidée de la grotte de Tourtoirac ; autres sites historiques locales.
Déjeuner : repas convivial pour tous rotarien(ne)s du district, joueurs de golf et leurs accompanants et invités.

āEspoir en Tête : IVème conférence annuelle sur le cerveau

Ce soir là, le Rotary Club d'Excideuil a accueillir au château d'Excideuil le conferencier : Dr Benoît Delatour, Institut du Cerveau, à l'hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière, Paris, qui nous a parlé autour
« La maladie d’Alzheimer : nouveaux traitements, fin de partie? »
Soixante-quinze personnes ont assistée à la conférence où nous avons entendu parler des progrès considérables realisés en vue d'un avenir marqué par de nouveaux traitements capable de ralentir véritablement l'évolution de la maladie. Tout le monde a remarqué en particulier la clarté de la présentation pour un public général. āā

Un total de 1 706 € a été récolté lors de la soirée pour soutenir Espoir en Tete, l'action nationale des Rotary Clubs de France pour collecter des fonds pour la recherche sur le cerveau dans la santé et dans la maladie.āā
Who are we?

The Rotary Club of Excideuil brings together a group of volunteers from Excideuil and its region, wishing to engage in local, national, but also international humanitarian actions.

To date, we have 23 members, men and women, from diverse professional backgrounds and 5 different nationalities.
